Who Got The Least Bang For His Buck in New Hampshire?

   DailyWire.com

In examining the results of the Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary, it’s become clear that one candidate had the worst return on his investment in the state: former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R).

Bush spent $36.1 million in New Hampshire, and yet finished in fourth place in New Hampshire, behind Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tx.), Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R), and real estate mogul Donald Trump. That means that Bush spent $1,200 per vote in New Hampshire. By comparison, Cruz spent $18 per vote and finished ahead of Bush.

Even though Bush is claiming that his campaign isn’t over, it was clear he was pulling out all the stops in New Hampshire. Not only did he invest millions of dollars into the state, he ran ads featuring his brother, former President George W. Bush, and his mother, former First Lady Barbara Bush, who even joined her son on the campaign trail in New Hampshire. Despite all that, he only placed fourth, and lost to Cruz, who spent very little time and resources in the fifth most liberal state voting in the Republican primary.

This is becoming a common theme for Bush, as he spent over $5,000 per vote in Iowa while finishing with a dismal three percent of the vote. Back in December, The Daily Wire reported on how Bush was running the least effective ad campaign in history, and Bush’s abysmal results of Iowa and New Hampshire are proving that point.

Bush spent $1,200 per vote in New Hampshire. By comparison, Cruz spent $18 per vote and finished ahead of Bush.

For now, it’s turning into a Trump vs. Cruz race as Bush wastes his resources attacking Kasich and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fl.).
