On Friday, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student and leftist activist David Hogg told Axios’ Mike Allen that teachers are “very understanding” about him skipping school to appear on tv.
“You mentioned your time. How do you do all this and make sure you graduate?” Allen asked.
Hogg replied: “Good question. Talking to my teachers and trying to work it out day by day. I was supposed to do a math test yesterday and I was like, ‘Nah.’ But it works out. My teachers are very understanding.”
Hogg used the platform to push leftist ideologies, suggesting that the makeup of advanced-level academic courses should not be based solely on student’s academic merits but on making sure minorities are proportionally represented in those courses.
