The recently disgraced — and deceased — music star Michael Jackson recently received a character endorsement from a highly questionable endorser: The notorious O.J. Simpson.

“The Juice” is loose on Twitter and one of his first big gestures was honoring Michael Jackson on the 10th anniversary of his death — a man who was recently accused of being a serial pedophile in the HBO documentary, “Leaving Neverland.”

Simpson, who was acquitted for the murders of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, released a video of himself in a golf cart reminiscing about his relationship with Michael Jackson during his time as a celebrity and even recalled the time he brought his own children to Neverland Ranch.

“Hey, Twitter world. You know, I woke up this morning and they were talking about Michael Jackon’s 10 of his death. It got me thinking about Michael, it seems like 100 years ago,” Simpson said in the video.

After remembering a charity he had once helped found with Jackson, Simpson recalled a time when Jackson came to his aid.

“Years later, my house was under siege by the media … Michael found out, he called me, he said, ‘O.J.! You’ve gotta take the kids up to Neverland Ranch. They’d love it!’ And I did. And it was wondrous. The kids would come up, they would bring some of their friends. It was so great that I started bringing my adult friends up there. Michael was never there, but he always had gifts for the kids,” Simpson said. “My point is, I could never debate anybody about Michael Jackson, I didn’t know enough about his private life to do that. What I do know is that my experience with him was that he was a kind and generous soul. Rest in peace Michael, take care.”

The two-part HBO documentary “Leaving Neverland” accuses the “Thriller” singer of sexually abusing young boys, often in his own home. The documentary sent a shockwave across social media, dividing people into two camps: Fierce defenders of Jackson and ex-fans too sickened by the allegations to hear him sing again. His two main accusers, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, have faced some scrutiny since the documentary’s release over a discrepancy in their account. As Jeffery Cawood has reported for The Daily Wire:

A British journalist said he found a significant discrepancy in HBO’s “Leaving Neverland” documentary, raising questions about the film’s credibility and its graphic molestation allegations against the late international entertainment icon, Michael Jackson.

Since its release a month ago, several tabloids in the United Kingdom have published a series of critiques based on the research of reporter Mike Smallcombe, who also authored a biography on the King of Pop. He says his most damning discovery focuses on a claim made by James Safechuck, who has repeatedly said that he was sexually abused by Jackson from 1988 to 1992, ending when he was 14 years old.

However, Smallcombe obtained building permits last week that he says discredit Safechuck’s story.

“Construction on Neverland’s train station didn’t start until the latter part of 1993, and it didn’t open until the first part of 1994, when Safechuck was 16,” Smallcombe told The Mirror Online.
