WATCH: Lights Shut Off During Press Conference, Trump Cracks Joke

The lights went out during a press conference at the White House on Tuesday where President Donald Trump walked back some of his comments that he made at the Helsinki summit.

“I have full faith in our intelligence agencies,” Trump said near the beginning of the press conference.

At that moment, the lights shut off in the room, leading Trump to joke, “That must be the intelligence agencies.”

“I have full faith and support for America’s great intelligence agencies,” Trump continued. “Let me be totally clear in saying … I accept our intelligence community’s conclusion that Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election took place. Could be other people, also.”
