Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden may have had an embarrassing moment today during a live stream event that he participated in after a flatulence sound was heard during the broadcast.
Donald Trump Jr. tweeted out a clip of the incident and wrote: âDid @JoeBiden just pull an Eric Swalwell? đ¤Łâ
The mention of Swalwell referred to a video clip from late last year that showed Swalwell having a similar moment on MSNBC with then-host Chris Matthews.
âA livestreamed campaign video chat between presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden and Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf on Wednesday was briefly muffled by the sound of what appeared to be a very wet fart,â BuzzFeed News reported. â[Biden] appeared to lean back in his chair at the same time as the noise, while Wolf appeared to blink and shake his head shortly after.â
The Biden campaign responded to the incident by telling BuzzFeed News in a statement: âGlad youâre putting resources into this important story.â

The incident with Biden is just the latest incident in a long line of gaffes, false statements, and highly controversial comments from the former vice president.
Last week, Biden made an inflammatory remark during an interview on âThe Breakfast Clubâ co-host Charlamagne Tha God, saying, âIf you have a problem figuring out whether youâre for me or Trump, then you ainât black.â
There was wide spread backlash to Bidenâs comments, including from Democrats and Republicans.
BET founder Robert Johnson told Fox News, âVice President Bidenâs statement today represents the arrogant and out-of-touch attitude of a paternalistic white candidate who has the audacity to tell Black people, the descendants of slaves, that they are not Black unless they vote for him. This proves unequivocally that the Democratic nominee believes that Black people owe him their vote without question; even though, we as Black people know it is exactly the opposite. He should spend the rest of his campaign apologizing to every Black person he meets.â
Charlamagne Tha God said in a subsequent interview that Biden has âbeen a very intricate part of that system, whether youâre talking about, you know, in â84 with the mandatory minimum sentences for drug dealers, or youâre talking about â86 with the crack laws that gave you more time for crack cocaine than powder cocaine, or youâre talking about the â94 crime bill, like, he was really one of the people on the front line when it came to the war on drugs and mass incarceration.â
Biden later suggested that he said what he said because of the way that Charlamagne Tha God was acting.
âI shouldnât have been such a wise guy with him,â Biden said. âHe was being a wise guy and I responded in kind, I shouldnât have done that.â
