Vanity Fair Picks Liberals For 2017 Best-Dressed List; SNUBS Melania Trump

Vanity Fair, which previously featured Melania Trump on one of its covers, snubbed the First Lady of the United States in its 2017 best-dressed list – while featuring numerous liberals, including both Obamas.

The list, comprised of over 40 people, is broken into eight-sections: Women, Men, Hollywood, Originals, Couples, Professionals, Special Citation, and Hall Of Fame.

Missing from the list was First Lady Melania Trump, which is odd to say the least, given that Vanity Fair featured her on the cover of the Mexican edition of the magazine in January.

Vanity Fair featured over two dozen individuals on the list who are either strong liberals or are outspoken Trump critics:

  • Solange Knowles – Outspoken Trump critic who headlined an anti-Trump event surrounding the inauguration.
  • Rihanna – Referred to President Trump as an “immoral pig” for implementing the travel ban.
  • Lady Amelia Windsor – Shortly after Trump signed the travel ban, Windsor posted a now-deleted image on Instagram that said, “Say it loud, say it clear: ‘Refugees are welcome here.”
  • Roberto Bolle – Tweeted in Italian, “Many stances against Trump tonight. As was to be hoped that was! #Oscars”
  • Donald GloverSaid in August 2016, “Like, thank God, one day, Trump is going to die.”
  • Lebron James – James doesn’t try very hard to hide his contempt for President Trump as he called him the “so-called President” at a charity event.
  • Jack Schlossberg – JFK’s grandson is no fan of Trump. “I love that I am free to say that I don’t love the new trajectory of American leadership,” Schlossberg said. “I am horrified by our government’s proposed immigration ban, I’m embarrassed that the United States pulled out of the Paris Climate Agreement.”
  • Harry Styles – Styles takes to late night shows to mock President Trump.
  • Justin Trudeau – The Canadian president is perhaps the most liberal world leader.
  • Cate Blanchett – Called President Trump “absurd and ridiculous,” also insinuated that he has small testicles.
  • Zoe Kravitz – Was behind the ‘Women Can Stop Trump’ campaign.
  • Janelle Monae Called the results of the 2016 election “so disgusting.”
  • Ruth Negga – She warns against normalizing the policies of President Trump.
  • Dev Patel – Said Trump’s travel ban “terrifies me” – also said it’s “horrible and divisive” and “utterly devastating.”
  • Jaden Smith – Teamed up with Shia LaBeouf to protest Trump.
  • Adwoa Aboah – Uses art to protest Trump’s stance on transgender bathroom policies.
  • Petra Collins – Called for a revolution following the election with a picture of condoms that say “men don’t protect you anymore.”
  • Miuccia Prada – A former communist. Following the election, she said, “The Left has to wake up: It’s now or never.”
  • H.R.H. Prince Philip – Was relieved he never had to meet President Trump since he decided to retire from “public life.”
  • Jeremy Irons – Called Trump votes “A cry for help.”
  • Lauren Santo Domingo – Thinks the Trump presidency will be a “goldmine,” but still said she was disappointed with the outcome of the election.
  • Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron – The somewhat liberal French president is not overly friendly to President Trump.
  • Barack and Michelle Obama – No explanation or examples needed.
