UPDATE: Michael Bublé Says He’s Actually Not Quitting Music

   DailyWire.com

The internet went wild Monday with reports that famed singer Michael Bublé would be retiring from music following his son’s cancer battle. The news stemmed from an interview he gave to the Daily Mail in which he appeared to announce his exit from the spotlight.

“This is my last interview. I’m retiring,” Bublé told the Daily Mail. “I’ve made the perfect record and now I can leave at the very top.”

Bublé said his son’s battle with liver cancel changed his whole perspective on life, asserting he could no longer stomach the culture of “celebrity narcissism.”

According to the singer’s publicist, however, the Daily Mail ran with a sensationalized report that did not reflect Bublé’s actual intent and even told E! News the rumors of his retirement are “not true at all.”

The 43-year-old singer further reassured his fans in a recent interview with SiriusXM’s Fantasy Sports Radio, where he took a not-so-subtle jab at the Daily Mail.

“Just consider the source — that’s all I say to people,” he said. “My buddies wrote me. I said, ‘Look at who said it.’ C’mon, are you kidding me? I need the money. I’m not going anywhere.”

Bublé’s latest album “Love” will hit stores on November 16 of this year.
