At roughly 2:30 Friday afternoon, two people were stabbed at the Rutgers Business School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. By 3:30 p.m. the school tweeted “Actor in custody. Area is safe. Police investigation ongoing.” At 4 p.m. the school’s Facebook page reported:
UPDATE: A suspect is in custody following a stabbing incident that occurred at the Rutgers Business School in Piscataway, New Jersey at approximately 2:30 this afternoon. There is no danger to the community. Three individuals, including the suspect are currently being treated for their injuries. The investigation is ongoing and additional details will be released as they become available.
Over 40,000 students are enrolled at the New Brunswick campus.
