…Says Benghazi Victims’ Families Didn’t Really Hear Her

In an interview with Chris Wallace for Fox News Sunday, Hillary Clinton was asked about her conduct with families of Americans murdered during the September 11, 2012 Islamic terrorist attack on the diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.

Despite families of the victims stating otherwise, Clinton denied blaming an obscure “anti-Muslim” YouTube video for inspiring the Islamic terrorist attack.

“Why would [the families] make that up?” asked Wallace.

“Chris, my heart goes out to both of them,” began Clinton. “Losing a child under any circumstances, especially in this case, two State Department employees, extraordinary men, both of them – two CIA contractors, gave their live protecting our country, our values – I understand the grief and the incredible sense of loss that can motivate that. As other members of families who have lost loved ones have said, that’s not what they heard. I don’t hold any ill feeling for someone, who, in that moment, may not fully recall everything what was or wasn’t said.”

Pat Smith and Charles Woods – mother of Sean Smith and father of Tyrone Woods, respectively – have both recounted Clinton’s blaming of an obscure “anti-Muslim” YouTube video for inciting the Islamic terrorist attack. Both Smith and Woods said Clinton attributed the motivations of the Islamic terrorists to the video as she met them for a “transfer of remains” ceremony at Andrews Field in Maryland.

Glen Dougherty’s sister Kate Quigley also viewed Clinton as having deceived her.

A transcript of Clinton’s comments at the reception for the bodies includes a reference to the blamed “anti-Muslim” video. The only mention of Islam was one which sought to divorce the religious ideology from Islamic terrorism. The only mention of terrorism was indirect, quoting Mahmoud Abbas.
