It was reported on Wednesday that Vice President Mike Pence refuses to go on dinner dates with women who are not his wife. Almost immediately following the report, the Left’s collective head exploded.
One particularly “woke” person reporting for Boing Boing, Xeni Jardin, had the hottest take of all: Pence is a Sharia law-compliant misogynist!
“How is this different from extreme repressive interpretations of Islam (‘Sharia Law!’) mocked by people like Mike Pence,” asked Jardin.
This tweet is, of course, moronic. Choosing to take precautions in order to honor your wife and avoid situations which could comprise your marriage is not close to brutal, oppressive Sharia law.
