Remember That Missouri Professor Who Wanted to ‘Muscle’ A Student? Here’s The Latest.

On Tuesday, the Board of Curators at the University of Missouri upheld the termination of intolerant professor Dr. Melissa Click, who was fired last month. The appeal issued by the assistant professor, who is now infamous in conservative circles for bullying a student video-journalist, was rejected unanimously, reports the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Click is now incapable of getting her job back, but up until the appeal was rejected, the disgraced professor was on paid suspension.

“We consider this matter now closed and are moving forward as a university and as a community,” said board chairwoman Pamela Henrickson.

According to a statement released by Click, she will “continue to fight” the decision.

“I am not surprised, but am certainly dissatisfied with the University of Missouri Board of Curators’ denial of my appeal and termination of my employment,” she said. “I will continue to fight the Board of Curators’ decision.”

“I maintain the belief that my actions should be fairly reviewed within the volatile situations I encountered on October 12, 2015, and November 9, 2015, and within the context of 12 years of outstanding service to MU,” continued Click, shamelessly.

Ridiculously, Click argued that the decision to discipline her “appears to be designed to discourage future activism.”

“I hope the MU community will continue to advocate for fair treatment of all students, staff and faculty,” she added.

As the St. Louis Post-Dispatch notes, Click was caught on camera twice at school protests being inappropriate; once being aggressive with a student video-journalist, calling for “muscle” to remove him from her “safe space” where media was magically “not allowed,” and another time cursing at a police officers who were trying to deal with a rowdy protest of the school’s homecoming parade.

Upon investigations, Click’s behavior was deemed as not meeting “expectations for a university faculty member.” On February 24 she was fired by a 4-2 vote, and on Tuesday the same was upheld, finally injecting some justice into the grotesque situation.
