As soon as radical Islamic ideology came into play as a possible motive for the vicious San Bernardino attack which left at least 14 people dead on Wednesday, the mainstream media, finding it impossible to report the facts and maintain their agenda-pushing narrative, reverted to condemning a different religion: Christianity. And when news outlets did report the facts, they were blasted as disgraceful, vitriolic and “Islamaphobic.”
Once the possible motive was unveiled as radical Islam, the New York Daily News condemned the religious for their thoughts and prayers because as their headline declared: “God Isn’t Fixing This.” This disgusting liberal outlet, along with many other leftist journalists, saw fit to condemn the prayerful religious (the prayerful religious who aren’t Muslim), and in fact, made this their leading narrative. It was very clear that the media could not report on leads and facts because they were intertwined with those hateful words which the Democrat Party refuses to utter: radical Islamic terrorism.
Because the left can’t pass up an opportunity to capitalize on tragedy, the insult to Christianity was just the precursor to their real agenda: gun control. The fact that the attack happened in the state with some of the strictest gun control laws in the country was irrevelant.
In contrast, the New York Post ran a headline that was accurate—but not politically correct.
That headline, offered despite our current potent PC-culture fostered by the left in this country, triggered an attack, as PC always trumps accuracy. Soon enough, the NY Post was trashed for reporting the facts:
It was very clear that the media could not report on leads and facts because they were intertwined with those hateful words which the Democrat Party refuses to utter: radical Islamic terrorism.
This backlash illustrates that reporting the news accurately must be off limits unless it fits the leftist narrative; pesky facts which don’t reach the left’s standard of political correctness must be silenced.
