Poll: Trump Gaining In New Hampshire

   DailyWire.com

A new poll shows that real estate mogul Donald Trump is gaining on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire.

The poll, conducted by WBUR, shows Clinton with a razor-thin lead of 2 percentage points over Trump, 44 percent to 42 percent among New Hampshire voters, while seven percent are undecided.

The reason for the close race is because Granite State voters don’t like either candidate: 58 percent have an unfavorable view of both Trump and Clinton. Thirty-five percent have of Granite State voters have a positive view of Clinton, while 33 percent have a positive view of Trump.

Both candidates are disliked to the point where a hypothetical third-party run by former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) would garner 21 percent of the vote in a three-way race, while Trump would receive 33 percent of the vote and Clinton would get 37 percent of the vote.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), on the other hand, is viewed quite positively by New Hampshire voters with a favorability of 55 percent and unfavorability of 34 percent. In fact, Sanders trounces Trump in the poll, 54 percent to 38 percent.

The poll was conducted among 501 likely voters from May 12-15, with a margin of error of 4.4 percentage points.
