In a pitch to turn the masses away from steak and eggs, animals rights group PETA’s extremely offensive new ad trivializes rape in the most egregious fashion, equating innocent women and girls being raped and impregnated to inseminated farm animals. According to PETA, there is no difference here: You are a raped and an impregnated pig.
The ad opens with five different female activists alternating lines, seemingly recounting brutal, painful acts of rape against women and girls:
One man held me down
While another touched me
I was so scared
I didn’t know what I had done wrong
After I felt like I was nothing
They got me pregnant
They use my body
I make them money
To them, I’m an object
They call me bitch
I feel
This is not okay
I wouldn’t wish this onto anyone
This hurts
I feel everything
And I feel worthless
PETA then makes the appalling reveal that they are actually speaking about farm animals being inseminated, which is apparently one and the same as a girl being brutally raped and made subsequently pregnant with a baby sharing half the DNA as her rapist:
“Because I am you,” proclaims one woman, tears strolling down her face.
“Only different,” says another.
“Every year, billions of animals are born into the meat egg and dairy industries,” reads the statement flashed across the screen.
Almost all of them are a result of forcible insemination.
Almost all of them are a result of rape.
Don’t participate, go vegan.

Rightfully so, human beings, some actual victims of sexual assault and rape, railed against the tasteless ad.
One Twitter user slammed the “animal rights” organization for leaked photos of PETA animal shelters slaughtering kittens and puppies, a massive scandal exposed in 2013.
Daily Wire contributor Harry Khachatrian pointed out PETA’s notable complicity with Planned Parenthood, an abortion mill that kills over 320,000 unborn babies annually.
PETA was unapologetic toward the criticism, disturbingly rebutting all concerns via Twitter with a link about the “rape” of farm animals. “Sexual abuse is a serious issue. Acknowledging it for animals doesn’t take away from humans,” stated PETA.
Apparently creating shock-waves to supposedly advance the cause of veganism outweighed the trivializing of actual human rape. Minor details.
Of course, PETA’s minimization of the rape against humans not only “perpetuates rape culture,” as the left likes to say, but it smacks of hypocrisy so often occupied by the left. A recent example of liberals jumping all over conservatives over the “rape culture” issue was their outrage at Ohio Gov. John Kasich for advising young women not to attend college parties where there’s “a lot of alcohol.” This sensible warning was considered “victim blaming” and part and parcel to the perpetuation of “rape culutre.” But comparing the insemination of the pig to a girl being forced to have sex against her will? Don’t expect a Think Progress or Salon think piece railing against PETA.
PETA: Where farm animal insemination is compared to girls being impregnated as a result of rape, eating a steak is considered “murder,” kittens and puppies are slaughtered out of “compassion,” and murdered babies in the womb are no big thing.
