The prime ministers from the Nordic nations took a photo that appears to be mocking the picture of President Trump and the now-famous orb.
As a reminder, Trump was at the grand opening of the the Global Centre for Combating Extremist Ideology in Saudi Arabia. There were pictures of taken of Trump with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi touching a glowing orb that lit the Internet ablaze:
On Monday, a picture was taken of the prime ministers from the Nordic countries all simultaneously touching a soccer ball in Bergen, Norway:
Norway’s prime minister, Erna Solberg, wrote on Facebook, “Who rules the world? Riyadh vs Bergen.”
Solberg added, “Don’t know what those in the upper photo were thinking. In the lower one are the five Nordic prime ministers, holding a ball with the sustainability goals. We’re hoping they’ll be a roadmap for the future.”
The prime ministers were meeting to discuss how they could collaborate on sustainability efforts outlined by the United Nations.
