<p>NewsNation host Chris Cuomo immediately contradicted his Democrat guest during a recent interview, calling him out for claiming that former President Donald Trump was the &#8220;only one perpetuating violence&#8221; when it came to political rhetoric.</p>
<p>Cuomo spoke with MSNBC contributor Brian Tyler Cohen about the fact that there have now been two assassination attempts on the former president — the most recent foiled by U.S. Secret Service agents just this past Sunday — and the Trump campaign has called on Democrats, in particular, to tone down the rhetoric that could potentially incite violent actions.</p>
<p>Cuomo began the conversation by asking why Democrats had gotten so mad at him for suggesting they should take steps to lower the temperature.</p>

He’s the only one perpetuating this violence.&#8221;</p>
<p>Cuomo was having none of it: &#8220;Yeah &#8230; no, he isn&#8217;t.&#8221;</p>
<p>In the wake of the second assassination attempt — and the predictable legacy media efforts to blame him for the tone of political rhetoric in the United States — Trump&#8217;s campaign published a list of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-team-brings-receipts-highlights-50-times-dems-media-used-extreme-rhetoric-about-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">more than 50 times</a> that Democrats or left-wing pundits had used violent rhetoric either against him directly or in reference to him and his supporters.</p>
