New Biopic Of Neil Armstrong, First Man On Moon, Makes One INSANE Omission

A new biopic titled “First Man,” starring Ryan Gosling as Neil Armstrong, the astronaut who was the first man on the moon, omits one crucial moment in what is arguably the most historic event in world history: Armstrong planting the American flag on the moon. When Gosling, who is Canadian, was asked about the omission, he responded, “I think this was widely regarded in the end as a human achievement [and] that’s how we chose to view it.”

Gosling added:

I also think Neil was extremely humble, as were many of these astronauts, and time and time again he deferred the focus from himself to the 400,000 people who made the mission possible. He was reminding everyone that he was just the tip of the iceberg — and that’s not just to be humble, that’s also true. So I don’t think that Neil viewed himself as an American hero. From my interviews with his family and people that knew him, it was quite the opposite. And we wanted the film to reflect Neil.

The creators of “First Man” seem to have true leftist credentials; the film was directed by Damien Chazelle, who also directed “Whiplash” and “La La Land.” After President Trump’s remarks regarding the August 2017 Charlottesville demonstrations where white supremacists faced off against leftists, Chazelle issued a series of tweets, including:

The writer of “First Man,” Josh Singer, wrote for “The West Wing” and won an Oscar for writing the film “Spotlight.” He’s not a lover of President Trump either:
