Star Leonard DiCaprio has had it up to here with the heretics of the leftist religion that is Climate Change. On Monday, in an attempt to cleanse our nation of such apostates, the jet setter suggested we implement a leftist-style religious test for political office: Those who do not worship at the altar of man-made Global Warming shall have no seat serving in our government.
Making his proclamation all the more binding, the actor, presumably fresh off his gas-guzzling private jet, espoused his religious test while at the White House, standing next to the Calmer of the Oceans Himself, Barack Obama.
“The scientific consensus is in and the argument is now over,” DiCaprio declared. “If you do not believe in climate change, you do not believe in facts, or in science or empirical truths and therefore, in my humble opinion, should not be allowed to hold public office.”
Of course, there is one small problem with his “humble” notion…
Still, the left pushed forward.
Obama, who has already been canonized by Climate Change zealots, then jabbered about his good deeds which paved the road to his sainthood.
Obama explained how “proud” he was of his administration’s “efforts on climate change, and defended EPA’s rules to limit carbon emissions from power plants,” notes Politico. He also boasted of the Paris climate agreement—you know, that “agreement” which is about as legally binding as a pinky-swear between two Girl Scouts.
The Paris agreement will take effect “in the next few weeks… much faster than any of us first anticipated,” said Obama, before outlining more international agreements he hopes to complete before his time in office expires.
DiCaprio, who has an equally strong fetish for gas-guzzling yachts as he does supermodels, is set to lecture the America people further, and bash “anti-science” Republicans who can’t seem to let go of the idea of boosting the economy, as opposed to crushing it, in his new film “Before the Flood.”
