Left Outraged Over Treasure Secretary’s Wife’s EPICALLY BRUTAL Take-down Of Online Critic

   DailyWire.com

If you didn’t know who Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin’s wife is yet, well, you’re about to because actress and producer Louise Linton has become the Left’s latest most despised Team Trumper after issuing one of the most brutal, hilarious, and OFFENSIVE! social media takedowns of any federal officials’ spouse to date.

Linton — who married Mnuchin in June in a wedding officiated by Mike Pence — is young, beautiful, extremely wealthy, and clearly hates “passive aggressive” social media replies. On Monday, the glamorous actress posted an Instagram pic of her and her husband stepping down from a government plane on a trip to Kentucky to visit Fort Knox and meet with Mitch McConnell. She initially tagged the photo with references to all the luxury designers she was wearing: Hermes, Roland Mouret, Valentino, Tom Ford…

“Great #daytrip to #Kentucky! #nicest #people #beautiful #countryside #usa,” wrote Linton.

Among some positive replies, Linton received this message from a disgusted mother of three in Oregon:

“Glad we could pay for your little getaway. #deplorable,” wrote Jenni Miller.

In response, Linton unloaded in a sarcasm-heavy version of a One-Percenters’ manifesto, in which she noted that the trip was official government business and suggested that the amount of money she and her husband had paid into the system dwarfed anything Miller would ever be willing to give.

“@jennimiller29 cute! Aw!!! Did you think this was a personal trip?! Adorable! Do you think the US govt paid for our honeymoon or personal travel?! Lololol,” she began. “Have you given more to the economy than me and my husband? Either as an individual earner in taxes OR in self sacrifice to your country? I’m pretty sure we paid more taxes toward our day ‘trip’ than you did. Pretty sure the amount we sacrifice per year is a lot more than you’d be willing to sacrifice if the choice was yours. You’re adorably out of touch.”

Then Linton moved on to the personal side of the issue: trying to “make life feel better” through “passive aggressive” posts.

“Thanks for the passive aggressive nasty comment,” she continued. “Your kids look very cute. I know you’re mad but deep down you’re really nice and so am I. Sending me passive aggressive Instagram comments isn’t going to make life feel better. Maybe a nice message, one filled with wisdom and humanity would get more traction.”

Linton signed off by encouraging Miller to catch up on Game of Thrones. “Have a pleasant evening. Go chill out and watch the new game of thrones. It’s fab!” she concluded.

Linton deleted the post Monday night, but it has been preserved for posterity by many:

CNN reached out to Miller to get her reply and learned, unsurprisingly, that she found Linton’s initial post “incredibly offensive.”

“She went to a state where one in five people lives in poverty and many children don’t know where their next meal is coming from. Instead of helping in some way, she chose to brag about her outlandishly expensive clothes. It’s more than tone-deaf, it’s deplorable,” said Miller.

CNN also notes that Linton pulled her 2016 self-published book about her trip to Zambia from Amazon with an apology amid criticism of inaccuracies and its “white savior” narrative.
