Jamie Lynn Spears is speaking out on the feud with her older sister Britney Spears, saying the animosity is all one-sided.

The 30-year-old actress spoke with “Good Morning America” to promote her new book, “Things I Should Have Said,” and to clear up any “misconceptions” about her involvement in Britney’s highly publicized 13-year conservatorship, which just came to an end in the last few weeks.

“When (the conservatorship) was put into place, I was (a) 17-year-old, I was about to have a baby,” Jamie Lynn told Juju Chang during the interview. “I didn’t understand what was happening nor was I focused on that. … I understand just as little about it then as I do now.”

“There was no me overseeing funds or something like that, and if there was (that perception), that was a misunderstanding, but either way I took no steps to be a part of it,” the singer continued, according to CNN.

Jamie Lynn went on to say she was Britney’s ally and can’t understand why her sister is so angry with her now.

“I’ve always been my sister’s biggest supporter,” the “Zoey 101” star explained. “So, when she needed help, I set up ways to do so, went out of my way to make sure that she had the contacts she needed to possibly go ahead and end this conservatorship and just end this all for our family. If it’s going to cause this much discord, why continue it?”

“I even spoke to her legal team, … her previous legal team, and that did not end well in my favor,” Jamie Lynn continued. “I did take the steps to help. How many times can I take the steps without … She has to walk through the door.”

Meanwhile, Britney has been blasting her entire family ever since the conservatorship ended, and most recently unfollowed Jamie Lynn on Instagram.

But the actress insists the whole thing is a big misunderstanding.

“That love is still there 100%, I love my sister,” Jamie Lynn told “GMA.”

“I’ve only ever loved and supported her and done what’s right by her. And she knows that. So, I don’t know why we’re in this position right now.”

Britney’s conservatorship ended in November after making headlines for weeks and spurring the #freebritney movement to gain popularity. The singer revealed that her father was in charge not only of her $60 million estate, but also personal medical decisions, including her being forced to use an IUD to prevent pregnancy.

The “Slave 4 U” singer tweeted her excitement at finally being in charge of her own life again when a judge ruled in her favor.

In an Instagram video posted Tuesday, Spears continued to show her gratitude to the fans who promoted the #FreeBritney movement.

“I’m just grateful honestly for each day, and being able to have the keys to my car and being able to be independent, feel like a woman,” she said in an Instagram video. “It’s the little things for us women, but it makes a huge difference. And I’m grateful for that.”
