Best-selling author and Daily Wire editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro is heading to Virginia Tech on March 31 to give a talk titled “Crybabies: The Hypocrisy of Liberals,” and, of course, the social justice crowd there is already getting worked up over it.
After the announcement of the talk last week, Young America’s Foundation, which is sponsoring the talk, caught word of a rather, uh, creative protest idea floated by one incensed VT feminist: selling “bags of dicks” outside the event.
No, seriously.

Shapiro’s YAF-sponsored “safe space” invasion tour has been causing a stir on campuses all over the country, including Mizzou, UNC, and a hotly-protested appearance at CSULA this week. Shapiro’s conservative talks have resulted in a threat to “macro-agress” (?) by one particularly hostile professor, calls for counter rallies, and claims that Shapiro wants to promote “racist, classist, misogynist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, ageist, sizeist, neocolonial, neoliberal, and oppressive ideologies.” His livestreamed talk at Mizzou, which took place in the midst of the turmoil there last year, generated big traffic online.
