Germany has announced new plans to ban and censor advertisements featuring sexually suggestive women, in direct response to the mass rape, sexual assault, and harassment of thousands of German women on New Year’s Eve. The attacks were carried out by male Muslim migrants.
According to German justice minister Heiko Maas, the new government mandate was issued to “reduce women or men to sexual objects” and “modern gender image.” However, the minister conveniently failed to mention that his government has gone to extreme measures to protect the German people from Muslim male migrants.
This isn’t simply a matter of gender “objectification.” Recently, public swimming pools throughout the country posted cartoonish-looking placards and posters warning Muslim men not to grope, harass, or molest women.
The government’s new plans come just one day after the first New Year’s Eve Cologne sexual assault case went to trial. “The defendant, identified only as Toufik M, is accused of being part of a group of 15 to 20 men who surrounded a woman and groped her,” reports the Daily Express (UK). “Cologne authorities received more than 1,500 criminal complaints about incidents on New Year’s Eve – with a third alleging sexual crimes.”
Here’s footage of some of the chaos generated by the mass sexual assault incident on New Year’s Eve in Cologne:
Germany’s right-wing politicians are not pleased by the new measures aimed at accommodating the sexual deviance of Muslim men. The justice minister’s “plans to ban nudity and sexual advertising are completely narrow-minded,” stated Free Democratic Party (FPD) leader Christian Lindner. “To demand the veiling of women or taming of men, is something known among radical Islamic religious leaders, but not from the German minister of justice.”
