Six years before he barged into the Pulse nightclub yelling “Allahu Akbar” and murdering 50 people, Omar Mateen was working as a security guard for G4S and appeared in the documentary “The Big Fix” about the B.P. oil spill. Click above for the clip which starts around the 36 minute mark.
In the clip of Mateen, filmmaker Rebecca Tickell records the future terrorist working a night security detail near a Gulf Coast beach in 2010.
Mateen tells her, “No one gives a s—, no one gives a s— here.”
“Like, everybody’s just out to get paid. They’re, like, hoping for more oil to come out and more people to complain so they’ll have job. ‘Cause once people get laid off here, it’s gonna suck for them. They want more disaster to happen. That’s where they’re money-making is.”
“It’s all about the money, right?” Tickell asks him.
“All about the money,” Mateen replies. “Exactly.”

A G4S spokesman confirmed to CBS News Mateen is the man in the scene. The filmmakers did not return requests for comment from the Daily News.
Mateen worked for G4S, the world’s largest security company, starting in 2007. His “inflammatory” comments to co-workers — he claimed to have connections to Al Qaeda — sparked the first of two FBI investigations into him, officials said.
G4S said it received just one complaint about Mateen during his nine years working there, but it did not release any further details. The company knew Mateen had been investigated by the FBI, but never made him undergo a psychological re-evaluation, The Guardian reported.
After the G4S incident, Mateen was investigated again by the FBI, CNN reports, but this time for “possible connections with Moner Mohammad Abu-Salha, a Florida man who became the first known American suicide bomber in Syria. The two men frequented the same mosque.”
