On Monday, Georgia Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle said that he will kill all tax benefits that Delta Air Lines receives unless they reverse their decision discriminating against NRA members.
Cagle made the statement on Twitter in response to the airline, whose headquarters are in Atlanta, dropping its relationship with the NRA after caving to radical leftist gun control advocates.
Cagle tweeted: “I will kill any tax legislation that benefits Delta unless the company changes its position and fully reinstates its relationship with NRA. Corporations cannot attack conservatives and expect us not to fight back.”
WSB-TV notes that the announcement comes as “Delta appeared close to convincing lawmakers to restore a lucrative sales tax exemption on jet fuel.”
Delta claimed in a news release that their decision to end their relationship with the NRA “merely confirmed its neutral status” when it comes to taking a stance on firearms.
