On September 6, A Muslim TV anchor in Egypt mocked “American wailers” he predicted would be forthcoming across American news media on September 11, given the 16 year anniversary of the Islamic terrorist attacks of 9/11.
Egyptian TV host Muhammad Gamal Hilal said that on the anniversary of 9/11, “American wailers” would go on about terrorism, while in Burma, a genocide was being perpetrated against the Muslims. “This is happening in Burma, in Afghanistan, in Pakistan, in Egypt … in Syria, in Iraq, in Yemen, and all over the Arab and Islamic world,” he said, claiming that racism constitutes “the guiding principle underlying the [Western world’s] conduct toward us.”
Watch the video below:
The host’s criticisms of America echo narratives pushed by Democrats and the broader left of America and U.S. foreign policy, including framing Muslims as broadly victimized by the West, casting “racism” as a widespread and permanent feature of America, falsely positioning Muslims as a “race,” and describing “terrorism” as a euphemism used by Americans for Islam and Muslims.
Democrats and the broader left essentially reject all proposals that factor Islam as a criteria in immigration and refugee admission policies.
Egypt is one of America’s largest recipients of American foreign aid, having received $77.4 billion between 1948 and 2016, including $1.3 billion per year in military aid since 1987.
