“Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe began trending on Twitter on Thursday after he made it clear that he had no interest in discussing the now-ubiquitous Oscars slap.

Radcliffe made an appearance on “Good Morning Britain,” and the hosts asked whether he had even seen the moment that everyone was talking about — when actor Will Smith, angry about a joke at his wife’s expense, walked up and slapped comedian Chris Rock.

“Whenever we ask about ‘did you see what happened at the Oscars and what happened with Will Smith and Chris Rock?’ everyone goes, ‘No, I was in the toilet at the time,'” host Susanna Reid complained.

“Yeah, I saw it,” Radcliffe replied. “I’m just so already dramatically bored of hearing people’s opinions about it that I just don’t want to be another opinion adding to it, so I —”

“You don’t even want to hear yourself —” she cut in, and Radcliffe shook his head several times.

“No! No, no,” he said emphatically.

“We have finally arrived at the best take on ‘the slap,'” comedian Jenny Lee tweeted.

Heather Gardner added, “I applaud Daniel not weighing into a situation that doesn’t concern or interest him.”

“Fiercely nodding to every word of this,” Josh Spiegel agreed.

Radcliffe, who appeared on the show to promote his new film “The Lost City” — which also stars Sandra Bullock — did weigh in on another internet controversy, however: whether or not he was being considered to be the next Wolverine.

“There is a Wolverine-esque look about you, maybe it’s the hair,” co-host Ben Shepard prompted — sharing fan art that showed Radcliffe’s face superimposed on “Wolverine” actor Hugh Jackman’s body.

“That’s very kind,” adding, “That is a very flattering, um, mock-up someone’s done.”

He went on to say that he wasn’t really sure what had started the rumors but that every time he tried to deny they were true, people seemed to interpret that as confirmation that he was definitely going to play the Marvel comics hero.

“I keep getting asked about it and I always try and be like, ‘No, it’s not happening, it’s just a Twitter rumor,’ and everyone keeps taking that as confirmation,” he said. “It’s just fan-theory at the moment, but I welcome the comparison. I mean, who wouldn’t like to be compared to Hugh Jackman?”

Shepard asked whether he would consider the role if it was offered, and Radcliffe responded, “I’d never say, ‘Never,’ like I’m not gonna — but I genuinely — oh, it sounds like I’m always inviting it. Like, I’m sure that Marvel’s watching it like, ‘We’re not thinking about you, dude. Don’t ask us.'”

Shepard pressed again, saying that “maybe you need to, if the fans want it.”

“Maybe,” Radcliffe replied, adding, “I, yeah … no … I’ve said maybe, now, this has started the whole thing again!”

“‘Doesn’t deny,’ that’s always a mistake, isn’t it?” Reid laughed.
