Chrishell Stause: From Married Actress To Reality Star In Romance With Non-Binary Singer G-Flip

DailyWire.com

“Selling Sunset” star Chrishell Stause has a lot of fans and even one of her co-stars wondering what is going on with her after she recently announced she’s romantically involved with Australian singer non-binary G-Flip following the actress’ split from boyfriend Jason Oppenheim in December 2021.

So, let’s take a deeper dive and examine how the 40-year-old actress/star of the popular reality show on Netflix and real estate agent went from dating her boss Jason Openheim just six months ago to dating the 27-year-old Australia musician born-Georgia Claire Flipo.

Stause first burst onto the small screen when she landed the role on the hit ABC daytime soap opera “All My Children” in 2005 as Amanda Dillion. The show ended in 2011 and in 2013 she scored a part on NBC’s daytime series “Days of our Lives” in the role of Jordan Ridgeway. She left the show in 2015 and then reprised the role several years later in 2019.

On the personal side, the reality star around this time was dating Justin Hartley starting in 2014 and in October 2017 she would tie the knot with the “This is Us” star. However, the romance wasn’t destined to be forever after Hartley filed for divorce two years later. Their divorce became official in February 2021.

Stause then briefly dated “Dancing with the Stars” dancer Keo Motsepe from December 2020 to February 2021 before she announced on Instagram in July that year she was seeing “Selling Sunset” co-star Oppenheim. But alas that relationship would end five months later. At the time of their split, both shared that things ended because they wanted something different out of their relationship and Chrishell made it clear the split had to do with her making plans to “have a family” one day.

“Jason was and is my best friend,” Stause shared. “The amount of respect and love we have for each other will not change going forward. Men have the luxury of time that women don’t and that’s just the way it goes. All of that being said, navigating this public terrain is difficult and I am just trying my best…I very much hope to one day have a family and decisions I make at this point are with that goal in mind.”

Along with her acting career, Stause works for the high-end real estate agency The Oppenheim group and in 2019 she scored a part in the Netflix series “Selling Sunsets” which she is still doing as the show in in its fifth season. It was on the show’s reunion special on May 6, Chrishell shocked fans when she announced she was dating G-Flip.

“I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me. Their name is G-Flip. They’re nonbinary, so they go by they/them,” Stause shared on the show. “And they are an extremely talented musician.”

“It started because I was just going to be in their video,” she added. “And it’s about this chaotic love story. I come from soaps, I love acting. And with the job that we have, I don’t always get to do it. At first of course I was like yes, let’s do that.”

So, there appears to be no rhyme or reason as to explain Chrishell’s current romantic involvement with the “Drink Too Much” hitmaker” and it has left many wondering if there’s something more going on with the TV star which she clearly noticed.

In response, Stause posted a video message to her followers she said are “are confused or worried” about her.

She captioned her post about how “sex is anatomical and gender is how someone identifies. These two things are often confused. There are many more qualified people to speak on this but maybe I can be the bridge to those of you open to understanding. Feel free to tag helpful accounts and I will pin however many it lets me.”

“You don’t get to choose when you come into someone’s life,” Stause explained in the video. “As much as I wish what I wanted in my last relationship aligned [with] the same things, it didn’t, and that’s OK.”

“We are in the same stage of our life and we wanted the same things, but that doesn’t diminish the deep connection that we have made,” she added about G-Flip. “And the way that they have opened my eyes to what that future could look like … I don’t know what that will end up looking like but I do feel –– it is about the person, it is about their heart.”

“But for me, I am attracted to masculine energy and I don’t really care what the physical form is,” Stause continued, calling the singer a “beautiful mix” of “male, female. And it’s probably why we did connect on such a deep level so quickly.”

On May 13, the two made headlines once again after G-Flip’s video for “Get Me Outta Here” dropped showing the two sharing a steamy kiss and making out, reported People.

“It was so much fun, we had such a blast,” the reality star said. “Not everyone’s going to be ready for it, but I think it’s great. I think it’s amazing, the song is amazing.”

And it’s not just fans that are puzzled about the actress’ recent romance, but “Selling Sunset” star Maya Vander looked genuinely shocked when the news was shared on the show. Her expression even went viral.

“I’m still processing everything. I didn’t know,” Vander shared on the reunion show.. I don’t even know. I wasn’t sure when she had her date, so I was like, wait!”

“I’m happy for you,” she added. “Whatever makes people happy, it doesn’t matter. I know how she wants to be a mum, and hopefully G-Flip is in the same boat, or whatever. Whatever makes you happy. It doesn’t matter. I’m happy that you’re happy and in a good place. Sorry, I just was like, wait, what? I had no clue, so…”

A source with the People magazine has since shared that Chrishell and Flipo are reportedly already living together.

“Chrishell moved them [Flipo] in,” the source shared, referring to Stause’s home in LA, which she reportedly paid for, in part, after selling off her wedding ring she got from Hartley.
