On Wednesday, Caitlyn Jenner took Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump up on his offer to use the women’s restroom at Trump Tower. And Jenner enjoyed the hell out of it.
Last week, appearing on the “Today” show, Trump explained his really very conservative position that government should be allowed to mandate private businesses to change their bathroom policies, opening them up to gender identity versus biology. (Very “small government” approach, indeed.) Trump said that he would allow the male Olympiad turned Woman of the Year to use the bathroom of his choice. After all, Trump isn’t one of those bigoted Right-wingers.
Strolling through New York City, Caitlyn videotaped himself on this glorious bathroom escapade.
“A trans woman in New York, I gotta take a pee,” says Jenner, wearing a black dress and black pumps to match.
“Last week Donald Trump said I could take a pee anywhere in a Trump facility,” he adds. “I am gonna go take a pee in the ladies’ room.”
After handling his business with no problems, Jenner smacked Senator Ted Cruz with a snarky: “And by the way, Ted, nobody got molested.”
Of course, Cruz has never indicted the trans population as predators. But different viewpoints, real concerns over an over-intrusive government or actual predators exploiting the new laws may as well be “hate speech.” Right, Caitlyn?
Ironically, Jenner previously said that he supported Senator Cruz and even went on a tirade about bathrooms being a silly issue when the economy is so much more important. But people change. Caitlyn knows what I mean.
