Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) stopped marching and stepped up to the barricades, dropping a series of expletives in response to a heckler at Sunday morning’s Celebrate Israel Parade.

Giuliani was marching behind current NYC Democratic Mayor Eric Adams in the parade, which was hosted by the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York (JCRC-NY), when someone on the sidelines started yelling at him — and The Forward’s Jacob Kornbluh captured Giuliani’s reaction on video.

Someone on the sidelines got the former mayor’s attention, and he stepped over to one of the metal barriers marking off the parade route. What that person said was not audible on the video, but Giuliani’s response was clearly a comparison between his own record and Adams’: “Crime was down 65% under me, it’s up 40% under him.”

“You bet! You are right!” one woman on the sidelines agreed with Giuliani.

“I reduced crime, you jackass!” Giuliani yelled back at the heckler.

Another spectator voiced support for the former mayor, saying, “You are the best,” — but Giuliani continued to respond to the heckler.

“You are a brainwashed a**hole!” Giuliani said, and a short time later, followed that with: “You are probably as demented as Biden!”

Giuliani also provoked a strong reaction during a recent appearance on FOX’s “The Masked Singer” — and even prompted judge Ken Jeong to leave the stage when he popped out of a jack-in-the-box singing “Bad to the Bone.”

“I’m done,” Jeong said, and he stormed off, leaving his fellow judges. Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy danced along with Giuliani, while Robin Thicke just appeared to be mildly annoyed.

CNN “New Day” anchor John Berman slammed the network for allowing Giuliani to participate in the show.

“You know, next week on ‘The Masked Singer’: Harvey Weinstein. The week after that: Manuel Noriega. Great job, guys. Great job. I hope the viewers that you’re attracting here are worth it to you,” he said.

Berman also said he agreed with a tweet he had read about the situation, which said, “The bare minimum — the absolute bottom-level for the bar we set as a society — must be: if you try to launch a coup and overturn a Presidential election, you are no longer allowed on game shows.”

Giuliani, for his part, said he had decided to do the show because of his granddaughter.

“I just had a granddaughter, Grace, and I want her to know that you should try everything, even the things that are completely unlike you and unlikely — and I can’t think of anything more unlike me and unlikely than this.”
