President Donald Trump officially launched his 2020 presidential campaign on Tuesday in front of a highly energized crowd of tens of thousands of people in Orlando, Florida.

“Just over four years ago, Trump descended through the pink marble and brass atrium of Trump Tower to announce his candidacy for president, the first step on a journey few analysts believed would take him all the way to the White House,” Fox News’ Gregg Re reported. “This time, thousands of Trump supporters arrived more than 40 hours in advance to secure a spot in the Amway Center, despite sweltering heat. Some had been camped in chairs for several nights.”

“We stared down the unholy alliance of lobbyists and donors and special interests who made a living bleeding our country dry,” Trump said. “The swamp is fighting back so viciously and violently. For the last two and a half years, we have been under siege.”

“Our patriotic movement has been under assault from the very first day,” Trump added.

Trump highlighted his success in appointing his 145th federal judge, which is something that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has prioritized perhaps more than any other Republican.

“By the time we’re finished with the rest we will have record percentages, our percentage will be a record except for one person and one person has a higher percentage than your favorite president, Donald Trump, do you know who that president is?” Trump said. “His name is George Washington.”

Trump wasted no time highlighting the significant economic successes that his administration has secured over its first two and a half years in office.

“Our country is soaring to incredible new heights,” Trump said. “Our economy is the envy of the world, perhaps the greatest economy we’ve had in the history of our country, and as long as you keep this team in place — we have a tremendous way to go — our future has never, ever looked brighter or sharper.”

Trump also mentioned that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation found no collusion and that Attorney General William Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein concluded that there was no obstruction of justice.

“They appointed 18 very angry Democrats to try to take down our incredible movement. After two years, 1.4 million pages of documents, 500 search warrants, 500 witnesses, 200,800 subpoenas and 40 FBI agents working around the clock and what did they come up with? No collusion,” Trump told the crowd. “The facts that led our great attorney general to determine no obstruction, no collusion.”

Trump did not mince words during the speech as he took aim at the increasingly far-left Democratic Party.

“Our radical Democrat opponents are driven by hatred, prejudice, and rage,” Trump said. “They want to destroy you and they want to destroy our country as we know it. Not acceptable. It’s not going to happen.”

“This election is a verdict on whether we want to live in a country where the people will lose an election refuse to concede and spend the next two years trying to shred our Constitution and rip your country apart,” Trump continued.

Trump also noted the vicious and false smear campaign that the Democratic Party launched against then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in an effort to derail his confirmation to the Supreme Court.

“They didn’t just try to win,” Trump said. “They tried to destroy him with false and malicious accusations. They tried to ruin the family of now-Justice Kavanaugh. They tried to ruin his career. They tried to ruin his life. They even wanted to impeach him on fraudulent charges. Those charges were a fraud. He did nothing wrong. All in pursuit of political domination and control.”

Fox News notes that at the start of the second quarter of fundraising Trump had an “unprecedented” $40.8 million in cash-on-hand and the RNC and their joint fundraising committees have another $82 million.
