How much does the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) hate Israel?
So much that the agency, which had used the picture of a young Arab girl standing amid rubble in Syria in late January 2015, used the same picture on Monday to pretend the girl was a young girl in Gaza oppressed by the Israelis:
As Harry Khatchatrian wrote in The Daily Wire in March 2016:
UNRWA facilitates the spreading of anti-Semitic propaganda via many avenues, the most troublesome of which is perhaps its production of educational materials for children inciting hatred of Jews. Other examples include Nazi-like cartoons shared on social media by its staff and promoting terrorist-supporting flotillas and violence against Israel. UNRWA has also allowed Hamas – officially designated as a terrorist organization by both the U.S. and Canada – to use its facilities and has employed its members as staff.
In April of this year, all 100 U.S. senators signed a letter to United Nations Secretary General António Guterres in which they charged: “The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) downplays its role in perpetuating troubling anti-Israel bias and activities. UNRWA must pursue reforms or risk significant consequences.”
Hillel Neuer of UN Watch, whose typically yeoman work caught the latest deception of UNRWA, was the same man who famously denounced the anti-Semitism of the U.N. Human Rights Council in March, firing at the Arab states who accused Israel of apartheid, “Where are your Jews?”
