New sickening video has emerged showing the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center Chancellor Dr. Paul Roth callously admitting that high school students dissected brains from aborted fetuses while attending a summer camp at the university. The allegations of such a despicable action, which have now been confirmed via the video, were first levied against the university by the U.S. House Select Panel on Infant Lives, reports Life News.
Roth, who is also dean of the School of Medicine at the UNM, is seen on video answering questions by Marcie May after a meeting at UNM where the human fetal remains were allegedly discussed.
“Can I ask you to repeat what you said before about the workshop with UNM fetal remains with high school students?” May asks Roth.
“Yes, we had a faculty member who obtained some tissue, and during one of these summer workshops, uh, dissected I think one or two fetal brains,” answered Roth, unapologetically.
The dean did not disclose where the fetal remains were originally sourced. He also failed to show a glimmer of remorse.
Of course, this action is not only barbaric and disturbing, it's also illegal, violating "New Mexico’s Jonathan Spradling Revised Uniform Anatomical Gift Act, which prohibits the use of aborted baby remains in medical research," notes Life News.
Protest ABQ, a campaign group which seeks to bring awareness about the injustice of abortion, filed a complaint in the summer of 2015, which is still pending, with Attorney General Balderas "seeking an investigation into the illegal use of aborted baby remains for research since the baby cannot consent to the donation."
Troy Newman, the president of pro-life Christian organization Operation Rescue, believes that the video of Roth's confession acts to confirm the charges brought about by the U.S. House Select Panel concerning the dissection of fetal brains by high schoolers. Newman added that the admission by Roth could lead to further criminal charges laid out by the committee or further criminal investigation.
“The video interview with Paul Roth corroborates the allegation made by the Select Panel. There should be immediate criminal charges filed against UNM and Roth, who apparently took no issue with high school kids dissecting aborted baby brains, and whoever requested the brains in the first place,” stated Newman. “Everyone at UNM and at Southwestern Women’s Options that were involved with the illegal aborted baby body parts scheme must also be charged. Anything less is gross injustice.”
New Mexico Alliance for Life later posted the video of Roth to YouTube.
