Fresh off her entertaining interview with Daily Wire editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro, CNN’s Brianna Keilar spoke with Donald Trump’s long-time lawyer and top adviser, Michael Cohen, Monday. Although Keilar was just filling in for Wolf Blitzer, she took command of the interview and held Cohen accountable, showing all of us why she deserves her own full-length program.
As Trump’s frequent on-air mouthpiece, Cohen attempted to dodge Keilar’s incisive line of questioning. The CNN anchor wasn’t having any of it.
At one point she asked point-blank about the Trump campaign’s clear struggles in both the national and battleground state polls. Cohen responded reflexively: “Says who?”
Not missing a beat, Keilar fired back: "Polls. Most of them. All of them.”
Trump’s lawyer issued the same response. "Says who?”
"Polls, I just told you," said Keilar. "I answered your question."
Cohen then changed tactics, asking Keilar to specify exactly which polls were demonstrating that Trump was way behind on the electoral map. “Which polls?” he asked in a tone of absolute dejection that would attract sympathy if it weren’t for the fact that he’s effectively Godfather Trump’s ruthless consigliere.
The last ditch effort was again futile. With an assertive expression in her eyes that called to mind Edward R. Murrow’s no-nonsense questioning of Joseph McCarthy, Keilar answered Cohen. “All of them,” she stated. All the polls show that Trump is losing and losing badly.

Unsurprisingly, the interview has gone viral. Here’s the internet’s response to Keilar’s smackdown.
