Controversial street artist Sabo painted the town with posters satirizing the public feud between Breitbart and former employee Ben Shapiro, editor-in-chief of The Daily Wire.
In a faux boxing promo poster that pits "#NeverTrump" and "Orthodox" (Jew) Shapiro against Breitbart's "#NeverHillary" and "Unorthodox" (openly gay alt-right) Milo Yiannapoulos, Sabo said he was calling attention to the unfortunate but "fair" internal fight going on among the conservative ranks over whether Donald Trump is good or bad for America.
Sabo said that it's "ridiculous" that those conservatives who refuse to support "a New York, Democrat, game show host" are painted as pro-establishment by die-hard Trump supporters.
"It sucks watching us tear each other apart the way we have been lately."
"Anyone who knows anything about me knows I've been fighting the establishment for years, and the thought that I'm somehow on their side because I don't support a New York, Democrat, game show host is ridiculous," Sabo told The Daily Wire. "My focus has been to teach Republicans how to fight like Democrats, not to have a a nominee who fights like a Democrat who actually is one! Trumpkins need to realize that there are very real Republicans who demand change just as much as they do, but we need a constitutionalist at the helm to do it."
The controversial artist called for unity among true conservatives, adding that Andrew Breitbart "wouldn't be happy" about all the in-fighting.
"It sucks watching us tear each other apart the way we have been lately," he said. "I'm sure Andrew wouldn't be happy about it. But this is a fair debate. I believe we both want the same thing but we have to be careful who we elect to do it. It bothers me watching Breitbart, Milo, and Ben go at it the way they have lately. We need to remember that we are on the same team. I don't believe for a second any of us are RINOs or establishment types in any way."
