Former Mexican President Vicente Fox is pathologically obsessed with presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. In an interview with The Washington Examiner, Fox went out of his way to demean Trump’s (American) supporters, while, ironically, condemning criticism of Mexicans. Lazily using the cliche stereotype of the slobbish and gluttonous American as a means of venting his anger about Trump’s rise, Fox essentially reduced American voters to a bunch of lazy drunks.
“We need to wake up that citizen,” Fox said. “We need them to take them away from the TV and drinking beer, to working hard, to getting the skills, to getting knowledge, and they will come along, like everybody else.”
Here’s the video interview:
Fox’s latest rant comes just days after he issued a half-baked apology to the real estate mogul for yelling about “f*cking” border wall.
“I apologize. Forgiveness is one of the greatest qualities that human beings have, is the quality of a compassionate leader,” Fox told Breitbart. “You have to be humble. You have to be compassionate. You have to love thy neighbor.” Fox then added:
Love your nation. Love the world. Yes, I’m humble enough as leadership be, [a] compassionate leader. If I offended you, I’m sorry. But what about the other way around?
After Trump’s Cinco de Mayo taco bowl tweet, though, Fox quickly shifted his tone, throwing a wave of personal attacks against Trump. Looking at Fox’s Twitter feed, it’s safe to assume that his new day job involves trolling the presumptive GOP nominee; the former Mexican president appears to be obsessed with Trump.
In fact, Fox went on a tweet rampage on Friday, focusing exclusively on Trump the entire day:

He even shared a post from Far-Left, anti-American and conspiracy site Occupy Democrats:
