Kardashian Women Have Midas-Touch with Business Ventures, Disastrous-Touch with the Men in Their Lives

The Kardashian women have capitalized on seemingly every business venture thrown their way since Kim Kardashian recorded and released her sexcapades with then-boyfriend Ray J in 2007.

From Kim allegedly receiving $10,000 for a simple tweet about a company’s product to the women signing a $40 million contract with E! to produce three more seasons of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” in 2012, as the Huffington Post highlights, "winning" in the financial department for these women has been systematic.

On the contrary, the Midas touch doesn't seem to apply to the men in the lives of these business-savvy beauties.

Kris’s ex-husband Robert Kardashian died from cancer in September of 2003.

Rob Kardashian Jr. has escaped from the spotlight, gained a dangerous amount of weight, and has been rumored to be battling depression.

Bruce—I mean Caitlyn—Jenner has recently decided to become a woman.

Scott Disick, Kourtney’s longtime boyfriend, has entered into rehab this month to take on his battle with drug and alcohol abuse.

The most recent Kardashian-touched man to bite it is former NBA basketball star Lamar Odom, 35. After tying the knot with Khloé Kardashian in 2009, Lamar has hit a streak of bad luck, including Khloé filing for divorce in late December of 2013.

Odom’s most recent disaster landed him in a coma after a bender at the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada last week.

On the up-side, according to E! News, Odom has made serious progress. He has reportedly spoken a few words to Khloé, managed to breathe on his own, passed a swallow test and moved with assistance into a chair.

We still have the implosion of one more Kardashian-touched man to look out for…
