Although her fellow freshman congresswoman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has stolen much of the headlines pertaining to serial anti-Semitism, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) has consistently also dabbled in vile anti-Israelism and oftentimes flirted with outright, unvarnished anti-Semitism. For instance, The Daily Wire reported last month, citing Ashley Rae Goldenberg of the Capital Research Center, on how Tlaib had been recently following a grossly anti-Semitic Instagram account:
Tlaib quietly and without official comment unfollowed a vehemently anti-Semitic Instagram page that she had been previously following. According to Goldenberg, the account, "free.palestine.1948," frequently shares "blatantly anti-Semitic posts and 9/11 conspiracy theories," including posts that "compar[e] Jews to vermin and Hitler...assert Jews wield an enormous amount of power, and...claim Israel 'did' 9/11 and supports ISIS."
As Goldenberg reported on Friday, the "free.palestine.1948" Instagram page once shared a meme about the "Rothschild-Israel Occult Connection" that was borrowed from an anti-Semitic site whose site manager claims that he "wish[es] to warn how Jewry is destroying Christianity throughout the world." Other posts have included overt blood libel references and horrific, vile falsehoods about Israeli Jews sucking the blood out of Palestinian-Arab children.
Prior to that, The Daily Caller had reported in January on Tlaib's various longstanding associations with sundry fringe Islamist figures:
Tlaib is a member of the Facebook group "Palestinian American Congress," where members often demonize Jews. The group’s founder, Palestinian activist Maher Abdel-qader, was a key fundraiser for Tlaib and organized campaign events for her around the country.
In January 2018, Abdel-qader shared an anti-Semitic video that claimed Jews aren’t actually Jewish, and invented their historical claim to Israel and secretly control the media.
The video, which described Jews as "satanic," also questioned whether 6 million Jews actually died in the Holocaust.
"Research the truth about the Holocaust, and you’ll definitely start to question what you thought you knew," the video’s narrator says. ...
And even prior to that, nearly immediately after taking office, Tlaib quite literally thought it would be a nice gesture to physically eliminate Israel from a map hanging in her congressional office.
The latest kerfuffle that Tlaib has incited, as reported by Jordan Schachtel of Conservative Review, is that Tlaib, who is of Palestinian-Arab background, now claims that she feels "more Palestinian in the halls of Congress than [she feels] anywhere in the country, in the world":
Video has surface of newly enshrined Democratic congresswoman Rep. Rashida Tlaib proudly proclaiming that she feels more Palestinian in the U.S. Congress than anywhere in the world.
"Honestly I’ve never felt more Palestinian than I ever felt in Congress," the Michigan congresswoman said in a speech earlier this week addressing the far-left Michigan Coalition for Human Rights. "Even in Palestine when I’m visiting my grandmother, I’m more Amrikiin, American, to the Palestinians. But I’m more Palestinian in the halls of Congress than I am anywhere in the country, in the world. And that just tells you just the fact that they weren’t ready for us. They really weren’t."
Alas, don't get your hopes up that Ilhan "Jews have dual loyalties" Omar will apply the same standard to her fellow far-left freshman congresswoman.
