2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney roasted real estate mogul Donald Trump over his affinity for foreign-born wives.
At a National Republican Congressional Committee dinner, Romney channeled his inner Jay Leno and unloaded on Trump.

Romney didn't stop there, as he made sure to punch back for Trump questioning his faith:
Mitt on Trump at NRCC dinner on whether he's actually a Mormon: "He could have just asked my wives."— Keith Urbahn (@keithurbahn) March 23, 2016
The former presidential candidate's searing comments toward Trump must have left a mark, as so far there hasn't been any response from Trump on his Twitter feed, where he spits out his insecurities toward his opponents. Trump's first wife, Ivana, is from Czechoslovakia and his current wife, Melania, is from Slovenia.
The dinner itself raised $20.5 million.
