UPDATE: On Wednesday morning, Republican Bob Stefanowski conceded the race for Connecticut governor to Democrat Ned Lamont.

UPDATE (11:05 pm ET): Republican Bob Stefanowski (49.5%) is now leading Democrat Ned Lamont (45.7%) for the Connecticut governorship.

UPDATE (10:05 pm ET): Republican Bob Stefanowski (48%) is now leading Democrat Ned Lamont (47.2%) for the Connecticut governorship.

UPDATE (9:45 pm ET): Democrat Ned Lamont is up 48.2% to Republican Bob Stefanowski's 47.5 with 11.5% of the vote in Connecticut for governor.

UPDATE (9:15 pm ET):

Connecticut: Democrat Christopher Murphy is projected to win reelection to the Senate. Incumbent Democrat Joe Courtney is projected to keep his seat in the House; Democrats have the lead in all four other seats.

Maine: Incumbent Independent Senator Angus King has 51.7% of the vote; his Republican challenger Eric Brakey has 36.8%. Both incumbents, Democrat Pingree (52%) and Republican Poliquin (57%) lead in their House races.

Massachusetts: Warren held onto her seat in the Senate for a second term and all nine Democrats, four of whom are uncontested, are projected to win.

New Hampshire: Incumbent Republican Governor Chris Sununu has 50.4% of the vote; his Democrat challenger, Molly Kelly, holds 47.7%. Both House Democrats, Pappas (52%) and McLane Custer (60%) are edging out their Republican challengers.

Rhode Island: Incumbent Democrat Sheldon Whitehouse has help onto his seat in the Senate and incumbent Democrat David Cicilline has kept his seat in the House.

Vermont: Senator Bernie Sanders has been reelected.

UPDATE (8:15 pm ET): Fox News is projecting Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) will overtake Republican Geoff Diehl for her second term. Republican Governor Charlie Baker is also projected to maintain his seat.

Connecticut: 5 Democrats

Maine: 1 Republican, 1 Democrat

Massachusetts: 9 Democrats

New Hampshire: 2 Democrats

Rhode Island: 2 Democrats

Vermont: 1 Democrat

The key races within the Northeast states include Maine's 2nd congressional district and New Hampshire's 1st Congressional district. In Maine, Republican incumbent Bruce Poliquin is being challenged by Democrat Jared Golden. According to FiveThirtyEight, Republicans have a 3 in 8 chance to keep the seat. In New Hampshire, Democrats have an 8 in 9 chance to take the open seat with Democrat Chris Pappas; his Republican challenger is Eddie Edwards.
