South Carolina endorsed Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) on Wednesday and was rewarded for it by getting booed.

Real estate mogul Donald Trump mentioned Haley's endorsement at a campaign event on Wednesday, and in response the audience booed her.

"She’s very weak on illegal immigration," Trump said. "Very weak. Very, very weak. She’s very weak on illegal immigration. You can’t have that. We need strong, strong immigration policies."

Trump continued:

“I am angry, I’ll be honest,” Trump said Wednesday. “And so are the people that follow me, because we have the most loyal people and the people that follow Trump are angry. They’re angry.”

“Remember this — we’re not angry people,” he continued. “But you get upset and you get angry when you see such gross stupidity and incompetence."

That was in response to Haley accusing Trump and others in the Republican base of being too angry when it comes to immigration in her response to Barack Obama's State of the Union address. As The Daily Wire reported on Wednesday, while Haley has said she doesn't agree with Rubio on immigration, the fact that she endorsed him coupled with her condescending lecture on immigration shows how weak she is on the issue. It remains to be seen just how much Haley's endorsement will affect Rubio's poll numbers.
