There's no doubt that the best showman of the Republican candidates is The Donald. He's had years of TV experience, he's got charisma galore, and for a man who owns casinos, sometimes he's even got all the luck. Case in point: the moment above.
"At a Trump campaign rally in North Augusta, SC, Donald Trump was interrupted by a protester who was screaming profanities and raising his middle finger to the crowd," the video's description, posted by Right Side Broadcasting, explains. "Two men apparently took action against the protester- and Mr. Trump called them up to the stage to say a few words."
"Do not let them intimidate you," the first man began, adding, "You back this man right here to the hilt. They will say anything. They will do anything to keep in power, ok. We don't need what we've got in there now. I'm talking Republicans and Democrats. He's right, we need to get some fresh bunch up there. Some fresh blood. Some fresh thinking, ok."
He then looked at Trump and said, "Now my man Donald Trump. Well I tell you what. I ain't gonna lie to you, Donald. When you got into this I kinda was a iffy, I ain't gonna lie," then shaking the real estate mogul's hand he added, "You the best we got by far."
Trump then struck gold twice. First he invites up American Chopper's Paul Tuettel Sr's look-a-like, who's sincerity and southernness is pitch-perfect. Then by insisting that the second man say a little something, he ends up pumping the crowd up even more.
The man bashfully began, "I got two tours in Iraq and I'm a county deputy."
BOOM. The crowd erupts in applause. The place goes wild. They literally start chanting "USA, USA!"
He continued, "If it wasn't for Mr. Trump right here, I don't think any of us would have the voice that we have. This is the only man that's really gonna bring America back. He understands what it means for me and my people out here who've been to war.... And for me and my department and departments around me, we need you."
Trump can't believe it himself shaking his head and saying, "Great. I mean that is so cool."
He then goes on to talk about how nasty the "tough cookie" protestor was and how there's something deranged in the minds of all the protestor types that show up at his rallies.
