In response to the media hysteria over the Trump administration's enforcement of federal law on the Southern border, actor Peter Fonda (the prodigal son of Henry Fonda and brother of Jane Fonda) called for Barron Trump to be ripped from his mother and caged with pedophiles:
This rhetoric makes sense coming from a man like Peter Fonda, considering that he openly defended an admitted pedophile – Roman Polanski – after Swiss authorities arrested him in 2009. The arrest came in response to a 31-year-old arrest warrant for Polanski, who fled the United States after being convicted of raping and sodomizing a 13-year-old girl.
Polanski has remained a fugitive of justice for over 40 years.
In response to the 2009 arrest, the man who publicly called for a 12-year-old boy's rape at the hands of pedophiles told a Zurich radio station that Polanski should go free.
According to the AP, Fonda said Polanski "is not responsible for killing anyone" and should be set free. "We should have been celebrating the arrest of Osama bin Laden and not the arrest of Polanski," he added.
Makers of the documentary "An Open Secret," which profiled pedophilia in Hollywood, called Peter Fonda out on Twitter for his statements on Barron Trump in light of his past statements on Roman Polanski:
At the time Peter Fonda elected to become an apologist for fugitive child rapists, even the left-wing Jezebel called him a "rape apologist."
Peter Fonda will return to the silver screen this summer in the movie "Boundaries," which currently has a 50% on Rotten Tomatoes and will be seen by nobody.
