As predicted by Daily Wire editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro, it was only a matter of time until the chagrined Donald Trump, after his loss in Iowa, would jettison his polite demeanor and start another Twitter rant.
But that was only the beginning; On Wednesday, Trump’s ravings started to escalate, engendering a hilarious response from his target, the Ted Cruz campaign.
As Amanda Carpenter pointedly tweeted:
Sean Davis echoed:
The Right Scoop noted, “We’ve seen over and over again that Trump fights dirty. I’ve been calling him ‘The Desperate Donald’ and while I really do think he is desperate, especially after his loss in Iowa, I also think he’s just this nasty. It’s like his default position. He’s a nasty guy and if he wins we will have four years of nasty attacks like this leveled against anyone and everyone who doesn’t kiss his ring.”

The Right Scoop, on Donald Trump
But the most hilarious response to Trump’s ravings came from Cruz spokesman Rick Tyler, who told CNN, "The reality hit the reality TV star in Iowa so nobody is talking about him now. So he's trying to regain some attention on Twitter … there are Twitter addiction support groups, so he should seek out his local chapter."
