In his scheduled visit to a mosque next week, President Barack Obama is continuing to do his part in laying the groundwork for one of the core 2016 presidential campaign pillars against conservatives and Republicans. His unstated objective? To frame his political detractors as unjustifiably concerned about the overlaps between Islam, Muslims, and Islamic terrorism.
Obama's not so subtle message: the various groups of ideological supporters of the Republican Party are dangerous haters of Muslims who must be stopped.
Specifically, Obama is campaigning against opposition towards his proposal to admit 10,000 refugees from Syria, almost all of whom would be Muslims. Hillary Clinton has promised to take in at least 60,000 as part of her presidential campaign.
Expecting the predictable responses from critics—which will inevitably be mischaracterized as manifestatons of “Islamophobia,” “bigotry,” “religious intolerance,” “racism,” or “xenophobia”—Obama will malign his opposition. The eventual Democratic presidential nominee will simultaneously be presented as carrying the torch in the left’s Quixote-esque struggle against the aforementioned social phantoms.
Breitbart News reports that the mosque to host Obama this coming Wednesday, the Islamic Society of Baltimore, had as its Imam a man who was formerly a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Imam, Mohammed Adam el-Sheikh, operated in this capacity for ISB for fifteen years.
Unsurprisingly, El-Sheikh has also engaged in apologism for mass-murdering Islamic terrorism via suicide bombings targeting Jews in Israel. He said this in his former role as Imam at Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center in Fairfax Country, Virginia.
“If certain Muslims are to be cornered where they cannot defend themselves, except through these kinds of means, and their local religious leaders issues fatwas to permit that, then it becomes acceptable,” replied el-Sheikh when asked about “Palestinian” suicide bombings.
Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center hired Anwar al-Awlaki in 2001 as its imam. The since liquidated recruiter of Muslims—both inside and outside of the West—to Islamic terrorism held this position for a year.
Al-Awlaki has been linked to numerous Islamic terrorists - both successful and unsuccessful in executing their plans—includinig Nidal Hasan, Umar Abdulmutallab, Faisal Shahzad and others.
Two of the hijackers from the Islamic terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 were reported to have attended prayer services at Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center in 2001.

The Daily Caller reports that the ISB belongs to the Islamic Society of North America, an umbrella organization affiliated with the Islamist movement known as the Muslim Brotherhood. ISNA’s genesis is tied to the origins of the Muslim Student Association, and anti-American movement which fuses leftism with Islam.
ISNA was also named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 20008 Holy Land Foundation terror case, in which ostensibly charitable contributions were siphoned to support Islamic terrorism by “Palestinian” terrorist group Hamas.
A subsidiary ISNA Development Agency, ostensibly a charity, had its legal charitable status revoked by the Canada Revenue Agency in 2013 due its funding of Jamaat-e-Islami, an Islamic terrorist organization that rejects non-Islamic governance of India.
