His own car.
According to WJLA, the incident began after just after 1 a.m. Saturday, when an officer from Fairfax County Police saw an “apparent equipment violation” on 30-year-old Isaac Bonsu’s car. According to police, the officer turned on his police lights and siren but Bonsu refused to pull over, prompting a chase that started near the intersection of Route 1 and Arlington Drive in the Hybla Valley area of Fairfax County. Police said Bonsu eventually drove into a Starbucks parking lot, then into an apartment complex before coming to a dead end. When he jumped out of the car, he forgot to set his parking brake.
Police said Bonsu, who got up and ran away before police caught him, was “okay physically.” According to AP, he’s facing charges that include a third-time DWI, felony hit-and-run, illegal window tint, and possession of marijuana.
