Barbra Streisand Claims 2016 Presidential Election Was Rigged

"They were playing with those voter machines."

Legendary singer Barbra Streisand has an interesting theory as to why Hillary Clinton didn't win the presidency last year: the Russians hacked the voting machines.

Or . . . something.

In an interview with Variety Magazine, the singer was asked her thoughts on the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. Streisand is, of course, a major Democratic donor and bundler, so she was unlikely to say anything positive about President Donald Trump, but instead, the singer seemed to indicate that she believed in an even deeper conspiracy than the one occupying Special Counsel Robert Mueller's time.

“I really believe she won the election,” Streisand says. “I’ve talked to senators from Michigan and Wisconsin. I do believe, like I believed during Bush, they were playing with those voter machines. And Gore lost by 537 votes out of 104 million. And now, in retrospect, Bush looks quite good compared to Trump. At least he’s not mean-spirited. He’s not a guy who is retaliating for what Obama did at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.”

Although there is some evidence that hackers gained access to a handful of electronic voting machines ahead of the election, there is absolutely no reason to believe that the Russians — or anyone — hacked the election on such a scale as to make a significant difference in the outcome.

As for Michigan and Wisconsin, well, perhaps for next time, she can tell her friend Hillary that she needs to talk to senators from both states as well.

But Barbra Streisand isn't just an expert in electronic voting, she's also, apparently, a top-notch psychologist, and she showcased her talents at diagnosing mental illness from afar later on in the interview, claiming that Donald Trump is clearly suffering from a propensity toward violence that's forcing kids, perhaps by osmosis, to commit mass murder.

“I think even that shooter was affected because Trump brings out the violence in people,” she said. “He says, ‘It’s OK — rally, lock her up.' ... He embodies the nasty remarks he makes about other people. He’s a liar. He’s crooked.”
