The White House Correspondents' Association announced Thursday that former Daily Show correspondent and self-described comedian Michelle Wolf will be hosting the White House Correspondents' Dinner this year, according to the Washington Examiner.

Wolf has expressed anti-Trump sentiment, saying on social media in October, "I think Trump might be our dumbest president ever," adding, "And thats (sic) including all the ones that thought leeches were medicine."

The WHCA is seemingly joining the rest of the media in its blatant disregard for entertainment by choosing a comedian with an obvious case of Trump derangement syndrome. They would never pick a comedian who is a conservative or even middle of the road to perform at the April 28 event.

Here is a list of twelve entertainers who would bring down the house, but would never get an invite to the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

  • Adam Carolla: Actor, comedian, host of the popular podcast series
  • Patricia Heaton: Television star of "The Middle," "Everybody Loves Raymond"
  • Dennis Miller: Former SNL star, HBO talk-show host
  • AlfonZo Rachel: Actor, writer, and drummer for the rock band 20 lb Sledge
  • Tim Allen: Television star of "Home Improvement," "Last Man Standing"
  • Norm MacDonald: Former SNL star, actor
  • Anjelah Johnson: Comedian, actress, with several comedy specials under her belt
  • Steven Crowder: Host of "Louder With Crowder"
  • Gavin McInnes: comedian podcast host
  • Andrew Klavan: Novelist, screenwriter, Daily Wire podcast host
  • Roseanne Barr: television star, comedian
  • Michael Knowles: Actor, Daily Wire podcast host, and oh yeah, he published a blank book

Each of these entertainers would do an excellent job hosting the White House Correspondents' Dinner, but for being conservative, center-right, or just refusing to bow to political correctness, they will not be offered to appear anytime soon.

Last year, the press expressed outrage when President Donald Trump refused to attend the gaggle when Comedy Central host Samantha Bee, a virulently anti-Trump celebrity, performed at the dinner.
