Trump Dating Website Runs Into Problems Mere Days After Launching

Oops.

A pro-Trump dating site, Trump.Dating, appeared to be a saving grace for single Trump fans who just wanted to Make America Great Again while in a healthy, fulfilling relationship. But just days into the site's launch, it's run into trouble: the man pictured at the top of the site and hailed as the "face" of Trump dating, is a convicted sex offender.

Barrett Riddleberger and his wife Jodi are the two people pictured on the site's header (although, it appears most of the other photos on Trump.Dating are stock photos), and probably didn't consider when they posed for the site that they would be the subject of investigative reporting.

But, according to Vice Magazine, when the Miami Herald dug into Riddleberger's background, they found a 1995 conviction for "indecent liberties with a child stemming from filming sex with a 15-year-old girl. He was then 25."

Riddleberger responded to the charge on a local TV station, claiming that he'd "already paid my debt for something I did 25 years ago." He did not serve any jail time, according to the Herald, and it's not clear whether his wife Jodi, who is pictured in the pink MAGA hat, was aware of his misdeeds. The pair have been married for 22 years, and are active in conservative politics. Jodi founded and now runs a Tea Party organization.

Trump.Dating has not responded to the revelations, but a visit to the site shows a new couple in the header, and this one seems to also be a stock photo.
