Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina refused to admit that her Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton have a “real marriage” after being prompted to do so four times on national TV.
“Do you believe the Clinton’s have a real marriage?” asked the constantly disheveled Chris Matthews of MSNBC following Thursday night’s Republican debate.
“They’ve been married for a very long time,” answered a smiling Fiorina. “They’ve been married for a very long time,” she repeated.
Matthews, in disbelief that anyone would ever question the authenticity of the scandalous and power-hunger Clintons, asked again.
“They’ve have been married for a very long time,” said Fiorina, again smiling and fully aware of what is being insinuated.
Matthews asked yet again.
“They’ve have been married for a long time,” she said, refusing to change her tune.
Matthews asked...Well, you get the picture.
This is not the first time the Fiorina has gone after Hillary Clinton’s character via her scandalous marriage: Thursday night the former CEO led the Republican debate with her poignant “Unlike another woman in this race, I actually love spending time with my husband” comment and on Friday the unapologetic candidate told MSNBC that if she were married to a man that did what Bill Clinton had done, she “would have left him long ago.”
