MSNBC analyst Anand Giridharadas claimed on Tuesday that President Donald Trump’s "sexual insecurity" might lead to nuclear annihilation.

Giridharadas’ comments came after Trump fired back at Kim Jong Un — aka "Little Rocket Man" — on Tuesday night after the North Korean dictator threatened the United States on New Year's day.

"North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the 'Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times,'" Trump tweeted. "Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!"

Giridharadas suggested that the tweet proves that Trump suffers from "profound sexual and masculine insecurities" and then declared that his deep insecurity problem could destroy the entire planet.

"As we saw all through 2017, men with profound sexual insecurity can wreak a lot of havoc in the lives of women, in the lives of their families," Giridharadas said. "But perhaps never have we seen a man whose profound sexual and masculine insecurities are literally threatening to annihilate the planet."

"The way he's literally capitalizing in that tweet his ‘Nuclear Button' — any psychiatrist or psychologist would have a field day with that," he said. "But we all live in a world that could literally be ended in terms of a habitable planet because of this sad man's insecurities."
